This is a much richer story than “buy this course and get rich.” The surprising business lesson is that the opportunity itself can become the product: the seller gets paid before you make a dollar, the dream commands a premium, and the customer may eventually be encouraged to sell the same dream to someone else.

The Dream Itself Becomes the Product

What if the most profitable part of a business isn't running the business? What if it's selling people the idea that they could run one?

Think about it. You see an ad promising financial freedom. You click. You watch a video about a guy who supposedly escaped the 9-to-5.

You book a “strategy call.” You buy a program. Maybe it's $5,000. Maybe $10,000. Maybe $30,000.

The company gets paid. And now you are the proud owner of... a business opportunity.

That's the moment when things can get very weird. Because suddenly the company doesn't need to sell you a product that already makes money. It can sell you the chance to build a business that will make money someday. And the dream itself becomes the product.
