Somebody built a gas station with a hundred and twenty pumps.

Read that again. A hundred and twenty.

The store attached to it is bigger than a supermarket. It sells brisket, homemade fudge, cowboy hats, wall art, and a wall of beef jerky long enough that people photograph it.

There is merchandise with a cartoon beaver on it. People wear it. Voluntarily. Out in public. In other states.

And the strangest part is this. Drivers pass three perfectly good gas stations to get to this one. They plan around it. They tell their family where the stop will be before the trip starts.

A gas station became a landmark.

How? Not with fuel. Not really with food either, although the food matters.

It was bathrooms. I am completely serious. Let me show you.
